Julie Gonzales is a BIM Coordinator / Architectural Assistant at ATPA Ltd and holds an MSc in Building Information Modelling (Design, Construction and Operation) with Distinction from the University of the West of England. She received the CIOB Certificate of Excellence for achieving the highest overall mark in her MSc programme. During her placement with Skanska UK, Julie contributed to an industry pilot evaluating Revit’s ability to produce IFC 4.3 models through testing, validation, and analysis, supporting industry adoption of the ISO 16739 IFC 4.3 standard and improving digital information exchange across the built environment. Her professional interests include BIM interoperability, openBIM standards, information management, and digital transformation across the built environment.
