Tom is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Environmentalist who has worked in construction since 2012, first as a structural engineer and later leading whole life carbon and sustainability work across UK and international projects. He now leads AI for Ramboll Buildings UK, helping engineering & specialist consultancy teams turn real delivery tasks into practical, reusable workflows.
His work covers AI assistants for technical work, a UK AI Champions network, and research into which consultancy tasks AI can automate, which it can improve, and which stay firmly human. He has delivered AI leadership training in London, Stockholm, Espoo and Oslo, and has authored governance for AI enabled delivery, including vibe coding, human oversight and use on sensitive projects.
