James Wilkinson-Brown MEng, CEng, IMechE is Head of Digital Manufacturing at Prodtex. He works with construction and manufacturing organisations to turn design information and expert knowledge into practical, testable production and installation methods. His work covers process engineering, DfMA, factory and site simulation, ergonomics, logistics, digital work instructions and the reuse of lessons across projects. Drawing on methods developed in aerospace, automotive and advanced manufacturing, James focuses on making industrialised construction easier to understand and deploy in the real world. He has led and presented projects across healthcare, stadia, infrastructure, offsite manufacturing and modular construction, with a strong emphasis on testing assumptions early, involving the people who will perform the work, and capturing know-how so that the next project starts from a more mature position.
